About

We built HoPS because we needed it ourselves.

House of Planning Service exists because two of us were spending six hours a week between us trawling council planning portals, the Contracts Finder feed, and twenty different framework supplier PDFs — looking for the same handful of things, over and over.

The data was all there, all public. The problem was that it lived in thirty different places with thirty different login flows, dated search forms, and PDFs that nobody had ever bothered to make machine-readable. By the time we'd worked through it on a Monday morning, our competitors had already started ringing the agents.

HoPS is the product we wished existed: every relevant feed pulled overnight, filtered down to what you specifically care about, and delivered as a dashboard and a 7 a.m. digest. We use it ourselves on the project management and transformation contracts our other business bids for. It works.

Who's behind it

HoPS is built and run by people who've lived this problem for years. We come from construction and project-management consultancy, and we spent too many Monday mornings rebuilding the same lead list from scratch — until we built this. We're a small team. If you email us, we read it; if you reply to a digest, it lands in a real inbox.

Why we priced it like this

The closest equivalent platforms in this space charge £800 to £3,000 a monthper seat — £10,000 to £36,000 a year — with the filters that actually matter locked behind enterprise tiers. That works fine if you're a national contractor with a procurement budget. It doesn't work if you're an SME builder or a consultancy that just needs the same data on a Monday morning.

HoPS starts at £49 a month and tops out at £299 — no per-seat fees, no contract, no locked-down filters. The same UK planning leads, the same government tenders, the same framework supplier lookups the big firms use, at a fraction of the cost. That's the only way this is fair, and it's the only way we'd use a tool like this ourselves.

Where it's going

National Planning coverage (the London 33 is just where we started). Council e-procurement portals beyond Contracts Finder. More frameworks. CRM integrations so the leads land where you already work. We're shipping fast and we listen to customer requests on our weekly call.
